At Koning Willem I College, we offer both Dutch- and English-taught vocational (MBO) programmes. Within the School of Commerce and the International Business Studies (IBS) team, we are seeking an English teacher to deliver lessons in the Junior Account Manager and E-commerce Specialist programmes, while also helping to shape the international character of these courses.
The team comprises 12 colleagues with diverse backgrounds in commerce, languages, and internationalisation. The team culture can be described as professional and task-oriented, with a great working atmosphere where quality and the students’ best interests are prioritised.
Your main responsibilities as an English teacher will include:

Teaching English in an international context (MBO level 4);

Applying the CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning);

Developing and updating teaching materials;

Coaching students in career guidance and project work;

Actively contributing to the further development of Bilingual Education (TTO) within the programmes;

Actively contributing to the internationalisation programme.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified English teacher—preferably a native speaker—who is energised by supporting students and contributing to forward-thinking education. You have an affinity for bilingual education and internationalisation, and know how to translate your subject into an inspiring and accessible learning experience that aligns with the practice-oriented nature of our MBO students’ world.
You challenge students, tailor your approach to their level and learning style, and foster a safe and motivating learning environment. Through your enthusiasm, dedication, and clear communication, you genuinely engage students and inspire them to take initiative.
